Only on principles of righteousness
When I prayed this morning for help and to simply just feel peace, I thought of this scripture:
"... the powers of heaven cannot be b controlled nor handled only upon the c principles of righteousness.." D&C 121:36

Elder Ballard gave a talk about dealing with children -- love them, teach them, hold them, cherish them. Persuade them. Like the Korean brother in a previous word whom I saw leading his little toddler forward by persuasion, by enticing him to do so -- not by driving him from behind.
