From For the Youth, Episode 14: "Arise and Shine Forth"

The Prophets saying that we have been reserved for these days and we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people. Wow. When I heard that, I felt like somebody was speaking right to me, inside of me. Like a voice inside of me was teaching me that the statements I was hearing right then were true. A whisper right in my heart.

As soon as you come to know Christ... come to know Him, and let Him change your heart; and then you will know how to change the world.

Story of girl who felt like she couldn't make a difference, and yet when she prayed about it, the idea came to know the name of each person in her neighborhood, ward, and school, and greet everybody by name. That could be me. I can make a difference. But I can't make a difference if I am not different, to paraphrase Elder Neal A. Maxwell.

I CAN make a difference. Have I? I don't have to do anything out of the ordinary really -- just listen and watch and be prepared. Elder Scott: "whom can I serve? What am I to do? How am I to change? How can I remember my blessings in time of trial?"
